Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
A grey-headed flying fox (Pteropus poliocephalus) in mid flight.
Grey headed flying foxes are bats found in wooded areas of south eastern Australia. They have a wingspan of up to 1 metre (3.3 feet) and weigh between 0.6 and 1 kg. During the daytime they nest in colonies of up to several thousands; come evening they forage for fruit and nectar.
I am a photographer based in Sydney, Australia. I shoot mostly landscapes but include the occasional urban, flora and fauna shots for good measure. My photographs in these collections were taken in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Iceland and USA. Please note that watermarks do not appear on printed images.
